日本のメディア各社さんはグルジアとイスラエルの関係を報じていないですね。米国か英国の大手メディアが報じると追いかけるはずなのになぁ。
そういえば「ネオコン」も英フィナンシャル・タイムズ紙あたりが使い始めてようやく取り上げましたよね。よく観察しているでしょｗ
とはいえ、あなたたちが大好きな英フィナンシャル・タイムズ紙はちゃんと報じていますが、これを見落としているのでしょうか。それとも最近海外記事のスペースが削られているからでしょうか。それでもこの動きを押さえておかないと次の展開が見えなくなりますよ。

Israel's military relations with Georgia came under the spotlight yesterday as authorities insisted they had repeatedly turned down requests from Tbilisi to supply advanced offensive weapons, writes Tobias Buck in Jerusalem .
Russia lashed out at countries with military ties to Georgia. "Those who have been supplying arms to Georgia should feel part of the blame for the loss of life of civilians, including many Russian citizens," said Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister.
Israeli media reported that the country's defence industry sold goods worth several hundred million dollars to Tbilisi in recent years, including drones, night-vision equipment and mortar shells. A number of retired Israeli army officers also provided training to Georgian troops.
Yedioth Ahronoth, Israel's biggest newspaper, also stressed the personal ties between the two countries, noting that Davit Kezerashvili, Georgia's defence minister, went to school in Israel.
But Shlomo Dror, a spokesman for Israel's defence ministry, said that Israeli weapons exports and training assistance were largely limited to defensive equipment and anti-terrorism training. He declined to give precise figures for weapons exports to Georgia, but stressed Israel was not among the top three suppliers.
Tzipi Livni, Israel's foreign minister, held several meetings yesterday to discuss the crisis in the Caucasus, although officials said they dealt mainly with the fate of Israeli tourists stranded in Georgia and Georgian Jews.

「英ＢＰ vs. ロシア」で読み解くパイプライン戦争 ― 2008/08/12 08:15
さて今回のグルジアでのパイプライン戦争の更なる深層に迫ってみましょう。これがあるから追いかけているのです！
世界中が注目しているバクー・トビリシ・ジェイハン・パイプライン （ＢＴＣパイプライン）のオペレーター・操業主体者は国際石油資本（メジャー）の英ＢＰです。
実はこのパイプライン戦争は英ＢＰとロシアの戦争という見方もできる。
この見方は欧米主要メディアもまだ怖がって報道していない。
このブログが世界初かもねｗ
きっかけは２００３年。この年ＢＰはロシアの石油大手チュメニ石油（ＴＮＫ）と合弁会社「ＴＮＫ―ＢＰ」を設立。ＢＰは新会社に５０％出資、西側企業の対ロ投資額としては過去最大規模となった。しかもプーチン大統領の訪英に合わせて調印されます。
しかし、このＴＮＫ―ＢＰをめぐってドタバタが続く続く。
２００６年にはＢＰ系の企業幹部がイルクーツク郊外で射殺されるという事件が発生。怖いですねぇ。
そして今年３月にはロシア連邦保安局（ＦＳＢ）がＴＮＫ―ＢＰの社員を産業スパイ容疑で逮捕。
そして、先月７月２４日には、なんとＢＰから派遣されていたＴＮＫ―ＢＰの社長兼最高経営責任者（ＣＥＯ）のロバート・ダドリーがロシア当局から労働ビザの延長を拒否され、出国に追い込まれちゃった。
ロシア側はＢＰを追い出して経営主導権を掌握した上で、資産を政府系独占ガス会社のガスプロムか国営石油ロスネフチに売却するとの観測が浮上しています。
ＢＰは原油生産量の約４分の１をＴＮＫ―ＢＰに依存しているといわれていることから、権益を失えば大打撃となりますね。
ロシアはすごみを効かせてこんな風に脅しているのです。
「ＢＰさんよ。ＴＮＫ―ＢＰの件で言うこと聞かないとＢＴＣパイプラインまで失うことになるぞ。どうなってもしらねーからな。ほんとにやるぞ。いひひひひ」
怖い。本当に怖いですね。ロシアはえらいことをやってますね。
ＢＰはどう対応するのか。
なんといってもＢＰにはプーチンでさえも怖がるあの人がいます。
あの人が動く時、欧米は間違いなく結束する。
そうなると、これは大変なことになりますよ。
こういう時は「誰がＢＰとロシアをぶつけたの？」と考えることも重要。そうなると米国と並んで、やはりイスラエルの可能性も当然浮上してきます。
